I believe the sessions were very productive and helpful to me! As I have said before, I do not only use the techniques that you taught me, such as the Triple-A, S.W.A.T Anylsis, or S.T.O.P. technique, in sports, but I also use it in my daily life. Your mental skills coaching is great, and you have definitely paved a better path for me in developing mental toughness and resilience. There have been a few times that I have caught myself beginning to overthink in general, but I have been able to shake off some of the thoughts by applying some little things you have told me, such as the Kobe Bryant quote about how the greatest fear in life is ourselves.
These meetings have helped me communicate better about emotions and think more deeply about them. I feel that the strategies I have learned can be used in the future effectively and well.
Coach Ari has been a lot of help to me for the past couple seasons. She has good knowledge on mental skills and always brings new techniques on the table. It has aided me greatly with my tennis. I feel like I have a better understanding of how different aspects can affect your mental performance, as well as how to correct them in order to enhance my overall game. I look forward to continuing my sessions with her.
